Block electrical access
Route cords out of reach or place them inside sturdy protective covers. Do not rely on taste deterrents as the only barrier.
Protect walls and furniture
Use physical barriers around baseboards, furniture corners, and areas beneath reclining furniture. Offer legal chewing materials nearby and reward their use.
Create useful zones
Provide a litter area, hay, water, hiding space, resting surface, and toys. Non-slip flooring can help rabbits move more confidently.
Houseplants, household chemicals, and human foods should be evaluated before the rabbit gains access. A rabbit-savvy veterinarian can advise on diet, housing, and health concerns.
